One of the World’s first coffee cheeses Kawa is a richly flavored semi-soft to firm cheese that is aged with Kintamani Arabica Espresso. The nutty caramel and toasted flavors of the coffee round the acidity of the cheese resulting in an experience that may be comparable to the first sip of a great cup of coffee. Based on an old French farmhouse recipe for Cantal we have worked to perfect the balance of this cheese between the robust aroma of the roasted coffee and the complexity of a young Cantal.
