Pasti Enak® Kanya™ cheese delivers a bold, complex flavor. Made from goat’s milk, it is a long‑aged hard cheese with a strong yet balanced taste. Similar to Manchego, Ibores, or Goat Gouda, Kanya™ stands out as a true artisan creation.

Our cheesemakers care for each wheel of Romano for more than a year. They brush and turn the wheels nearly 100 times during the aging process. This dedication ensures a deep, well‑developed flavor.

We named this cheese after Queen Dewa Agung Istri Kanya. Her courage and leadership inspire us to honor her legacy through our craft.

Kusamba Salt and History

We use salt from Kusamba village in Klungkung Regency. Known for its high quality, Kusamba salt adds character to the cheese. The village also carries historic significance. In 1849, Ibu Kanya led a night offensive against the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army. Her bravery caused the death of the Dutch commander and forced a retreat from Kusamba on May 25, 1849.

Dewa Agung Istri Kanya showed strength, produced literary works, and stood against overwhelming odds. Therefore, we proudly name this cheese in her honor.
